I've been working full time, working overtime every day, going to class until 10:30-11 pm two nights a week, attempting to do homework/study, sustaining a long distance relationship, and all of my free time is spent cooking and cleaning. I don't even have enough time to do anything that warrants making a comic anyway! Haha.<br /><br />Once overtime ends and I'm done with a large personal project I'm working on, I'll probably have more time to make comics. That'll be a week or two from now, I suspect.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-31500346973192531152010-08-20T10:00:00.000-07:002010-08-20T10:00:02.783-07:00Empty<div><img src="http://ckhickey.com/vanessa/2010/aug-20-empty.jpg" border="0" alt="Aug 20 - Empty" /></div><br /><br /><div>I haven't done the long distance relationship thing in a long time, but those familiar feelings are rushing back.</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-77701520541316416382010-08-18T10:00:00.000-07:002010-08-18T10:00:02.770-07:00Civilization<div><img src="http://ckhickey.com/vanessa/2010/aug-18-civilization.jpg" border="0" alt="Aug 18 - Civilization" /></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-83852010638496525182010-08-16T10:00:00.000-07:002010-08-16T10:00:01.552-07:00Stupid Designer Jokes: Vector Smart Object<div><img src="http://ckhickey.com/vanessa/2010/aug-16-vector.jpg" border="0" alt="Aug 16 - Vector Smart Object" /></div><br /><br /><div>My coworker Lynn and I always seem to come up with the dumbest, most random and obscure jokes relating to what we do at work. Most of them would probably make no sense to 95% of the world. This one is a bit more relatable and still stupidly funny.</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-3914597683542774282010-08-11T12:00:00.000-07:002010-08-11T12:00:01.776-07:00Goodbye<div><img src="http://ckhickey.com/vanessa/2010/aug-11-goodbye.jpg" border="0" alt="Aug 11 - Goodbye" /></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-81331812111256770762010-08-09T18:56:00.000-07:002010-08-11T09:26:11.533-07:00On the Way to San Francisco<div><img src="http://ckhickey.com/vanessa/2010/aug-09-breakdown.jpg" border="0" alt="Aug 9 - Breakdown" /></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-12223974341663142812010-08-07T00:28:00.000-07:002010-08-11T09:25:40.777-07:00Watching Adam<div><img src="http://ckhickey.com/vanessa/2010/aug-07-adam.jpg" border="0" alt="Aug 7 - Adam" /></div><br /><div>In case this doesn't make sense, on Sunday night Kevin and I watched <i>Adam</i>, a movie about a guy with Asperger's Syndrome who falls in love with a "normal" girl. Kevin has Asperger's. I'm somewhat "normal." (Yeah, I'll keep telling myself that...) We thought it would be a good bonding experience since maybe we could relate to the characters and hopefully learn something. Ultimately, I ended up feeling extremely grateful that Kevin is exactly the way he is and possesses all the positive traits associated with AS: a high level of intelligence, varied and deep interests, complete honesty, etc.</div><div><br /></div><div>I could go into my insanely long opinionated rant about why mental conditions like this are a gift as opposed to a liability and how people with these conditions simply have certain aspects of their personalities at different ends of a spectrum than others, but I'll have to save that discussion for some other time.</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3505892969137102654.post-13474611594171530832010-08-05T20:33:00.000-07:002015-07-13T14:29:11.265-07:00My Birthday<div>

Often times, they seem to describe one specific event that happened during the day and they are sometimes dramatized for entertainment purposes.<div><br /></div><div>Considering I've been trying to get back into the habit of drawing, I <i>love </i>making comic strips, and I am obsessed with writing in journals, I thought I'd give it a shot. We'll see how frequently I can update, how offended people get by the amount of personal information I reveal, and who I should allow to see this blog in the first place.</div><div><br /></div><div>Might change the name. I named it as such since the first comic is about my birthday and I'm a Leo.</div><div><br /></div><div>Enjoy!</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
